Just because Rosie is a celeb, there are people ready to fall in behind her, Leo doesnt know squat about weather, yet he claims, without knowledge mind you, that in 20 years the earth will be uninhabitable. Remember, in 75 they thought the ice cap would be gone by 1980, and they were experts. My point is, Rosie, manly as she is, puts her pants on the same way I do so what makes her opinion more important than mine, or anyone elses?

the media goes out of their way to post responses that this celeb said about political candidates or situations . Why do we care? These people are paid to entertain, no expound on issues of importance?

Some have attributed the success of Obama and Huckabee’s campaigns to their endorsements by Oprah Winfrey and Chuck Norris. If that’s the case, then why? Sure, we may enjoy “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and old episodes of “Walker, Texas Ranger”, but why would anyone be so easily influenced by their endorsements of certain political candidates? After all, we’re supposed to vote according to the ISSUES, not because our favorite celebs endorse certain candidates. And besides, why would anyone assume that just because these celebrities are good entertainers they must have a good head for politics, as well?
