I am sick of seeing all that gossipy mags at the grocery store checkout or even on the news! If people quit buying them maybe other newsworthy mags would be more prominent- like National Geographic or Newsweek! Who really cares about Britney Spears anyway? I mean there is really important stuff* going on in the world? Why is it so important to read gossip about people you don’t even know??? I mean if they were doing something more special than shopping, getting drunk, or getting arrested, I might understand, but really they are doing lame stuff -why do you care?

*Hunger, politics, religious issues, war, etc.

has there ever been a celebrity that killed him/herself over lust for another person? or anyone, really, not even a celebrity. its for this thing i need for a paper. i need an outside connection (pop culture, science, sports, politics, whatever) to Juliet’s love for Romeo. Any ideas?

What celeb would you like to punch in the head and why? If you had a free pass to just walk up a blast any celeb right in the face who would it be?

My choice – Al Franken Why – annoying on SNL, annoying when talking politics, annoying to look at.
